The physician you choose will be your primary doctor. Our goal is your continued good health and the delivery of a healthy newborn baby. We have two certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners who may also care for you during your office visits.
Having multiple physicians practicing together means that there is a specialist available when if your doctor is out of town or ill. Expert consultation and assistance is always available. With the addition of our nurse practitioners, more appointments are available, so waiting times for appointments are shortened.
If you wish to speak with us, please send a message to your provider via our patient portal or call during office hours at (318) 377-8855. After hours and on weekends there is a physician on call for emergencies. You should receive a return call from the on call provider promptly. Please call the office after hours, not your physician. If you have an emergency and cannot reach us by phone, please go to Minden Medical Center. The nurses will contact one of the physicians. Go directly to the 4th floor labor unit if you think you maybe in labor.
You can access the Patient Portal via our website www.mywomensclinic.com. The Patient Portal allows you to leave message with your provider, request prescriptions, and make appointments online. This is the preferred method of contacting your provider Please use this method first to contact us when needed.
You are urged to keep your scheduled appointments. Good prenatal care contributes to the health of the mother and the infant. If you cannot keep your appointment, please call to reschedule. We encourage your partner to come with you any time their schedule permits.
